STAT and Bloomingbit are continuing our collaboration with World Network(World, Former Worldcoin) on World ID, and we plan to strengthen mutual cooperation across various fields in the future. The partnership also aims to promote the expansion of a transparent blockchain ecosystem both domestically and internationally.

World is a project co-founded by Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI and the renowned “father of ChatGPT,” which has garnered significant attention. It aims to establish human verification through the “World App” and “World ID,” as well as to build a global financial network.

Tools for Humanity (TFH), the developer of WorldCoin, raised $115 million in a Series C funding round led by Blockchain Capital last May, achieving a valuation of $3 billion (approximately 4 trillion KRW).

월드는 ‘챗GPT의 아버지’로 유명한 샘 올트먼 오픈AI 최고경영자(CEO)가 공동 설립하여 화제가 된 프로젝트로, ‘월드 앱’과 ‘월드 ID’를 통한 인간 증명 그리고 글로벌 금융 네트워크 구축을 목표로 하고 있습니다.

월드 개발사 ‘툴스 포 휴머니티(TFH, Tools For Humanity)’는 지난 5월 블록체인 캐피털이 주도한 시리즈 C 펀딩을 통해 1억1500만 달러의 투자를 유치하고, 30억 달러(약 4조원) 규모의 기업 가치를 인정받기도 했습니다.
